A small critical access hospital nestled in Alaska's Inside Passage is seeing a medical technologist/medical laboratory technician (generalist) to work the day shift.

This picturesque harbor town in the Inside Passage is known for its Tlingit culture, wildlife viewing, and exploration on the beautiful Stikine River. Adventure is easy to find in Wrangell, from flightseeing over the snow-capped coastal range and glaciers to visiting Anan Bear and Wildlife Observatory for an up-close bear experience, or checking out the impressive collection of totems. Downtown offers shops, galleries and restaurants with varied menus, but most feature local seafood.
With summer coming soon, it's the perfect time to head to Alaska to take in the breathtaking beauty that awaits. In fact, in late June through August, one of Southeast Alaska's largest pink salmon runs enters Anan Bay and heads up Anan Creek.
Yearly Salary Range: $76,000-97,000
Job Summary:
Discover the presence or absence of disease and provide data that help physicians determine the best treatment for the patient. Specialty areas of laboratory medicine include clinical chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, serology and the emerging field of molecular diagnostics.
