Freelance Director of Creative Operations

Our client, a leading tech company in the food space, is looking for a Freelance Director of Creative Operations to join their team on a 6-8month assignment with the possibility to extend. This role begins remotely immediately!

What you'll be doing:


Direct all project execution across creative teams while overseeing project managers
Own the processes that drives creative execution, collaboration, operational and communication efficiencies, and growth
Help drive continuous improvement of project management process
Train and mentor other department leads on project management process
Manage and forecast creative budget
Act as a liaison between the creative team and internal and external leadership partners
Build and maintain key relationships
Collaborate with other team leads to provide strategic thinking
Determine resource availability and prioritization of projects
Assist in developing key performance indicators to measure project success
Ensure creative team is delivering best-in-class output



About you:


8+ years of professional experience as a project or program manager, account manager, producer, or similar role
3+ yers of experience leading the delivery of large creative projects at a senior manager title or above
Expertise in leading teams to create work that is on time, on budget and on brief
Proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Highly collaborative and proven ability to influence key stakeholders
Great problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-start with entrepreneurial spirit
Knowledge with project management tools like Asana
