Summary:

Responsible for the hardware development of next-generation technologies that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another

Project Details:

  • Design, test, and debug of hardware, including PCB schematic capture and/or layout
  • Work with cross-functional team to deliver a complete electronic system
  • Manage solution scope, evaluate feasibility, and estimate schedule
  • Administer external vendor on manufacturing PCB, PCBA

Job Experience:
  • BA/BS degree with minimum of 3 years industrial experience in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on lab experience
  • Expertise working with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, logic analyzers
  • Expertise working in embedded systems (Microcontrollers, DSP, PMIC)
  • Experience with wireless hardware (eg. BL, BLE)
  • Experience working with EDA software for schematic design, layouts, and circuit run simulation (Altium or Orcad/Allegro)
  • Strong team player and problem-solver
  • Familiarity with standard digital interfaces (USB, SPI, I2C)
  • Hands-on experience with low power system design
  • Familiarity with sensor technologies and interfaces
  • Expertise in low-latency communication methods
  • Ability to program (C, C++ and Python) and strong familiarity with MATLAB or similar signal data analysis tools
