Job Details:

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

REQUIERE: 6 MONTH FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE

Must be willing to load and unload trailers. Must be willing set temperatures on the trailers per guidelines established. Must be willing to verify product temperatures and document findings on the correct log.

Must be willing to visually inspect trailers for defects. Must be able to write up loads on the appropriate forms. Must be willing to perform other assigned duties in the work area approximately 5% of the time.

Must maintain housekeeping in work area by ensuring all trash is removed from the equipment and in the assigned work areas. Must ensure truck is fueled and add as needed daily. Must complete a safety checklist at start up daily and document on the proper form to be turned in to management.

Must be willing to get in/out of the truck cab 48 inches high off the ground approximately (10% of the time) to get in and out of the Ottawa dock truck.

Must be willing to lift approximately 70 lbs. as needed.

Must be willing to work in a cold environment with temperatures below (-10 degrees)

Must be willing to work in other environmental conditions such as: humid, wet, dry, and slippery.

Must be willing to work in the area with the noise level of 85lbs.

Must be willing to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform all essential functions and related tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, with limited supervision.
