Financial Reporting Analyst II

The Financial Reporting Analyst II prepares internal management and Board committee reporting. This person will also perform financial statement analysis, including profitability analysis on the Bank's product lines.

Accountabilities:

• Assists with strategic business plan reporting and supports the external reporting function.
• Contributes to the development of automated solutions to improve effectiveness of processes, reduce risk and promote efficiencies.
• Prepares ad-hoc internal reporting deliverables, as requested by management.
• Prepares monthly financial statement analyses to identify notable drivers and trends.
• Prepares monthly internal management and Board committee reporting.
• Prepares monthly peer analysis on other FHL Banks.
• Prepares monthly product profitability analyses and investigates changes in profitability on applicable product lines.
• Supports the external reporting function, as requested.
• Assists with Bank and department projects as needed.
• Assists with compiling information for the Bank's strategic business plan.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related experience, including exposure/experience with financial reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, SQL, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with Workiva (Wdesk) application preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree inAccounting.
