Position: Financial Coach
Location: The Woodlands
Rate of Pay: $42,000 annually
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
The Financial Coach will provide both Financial Education and Financial Coaching to help low and moderate income clients set and achieve financial goals to reach financial stability and self sufficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Conducts financial classes weekly and provides one-on-one financial coaching.
- Maintains client files according to VOATX and grant guidelines.
- Works with clients to manage their budget.
- Works with clients to reduce or eliminate debt.
- Works with clients to increase client savings.
- Assists clients in improving their credit scores.
- Assists clients to obtain and manage assets through appropriate financial products.
- Attends all United Way THRIVE meetings and phone conferences.
- Completes data entry tasks and provide outcome reports.
- Ensures management of the program's resources within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University plus three years experience in applicable social and/or financial services.
- A Texas Drivers License is required, clear MVR and the ability to be insured.
