It's More Than a Job, It's a Career

This role will have the opportunity to positively impact the Mississippi Campus of the Remanufacturing Division by developing business insights and driving business decisions that strengthen the financial state and increase profitability for one of our Small Business Teams (SBT). This role will also lead planning and forecasting for the SBT as well as have the opportunity to work on other facets of the business that support the team like costing and analysis.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to SBT financial manager with a focus of driving profitable results
  • Prepare and provide oversight to SBT investment financial analysis.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to costing and analysis, profitability studies, and OPACC (Operating Profit After Capital Charge) improvement.
  • Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management
  • Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use
  • Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests
What You Have:
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
