Family Law Attorney

Beacon Hill Staffing Group's client is a Bay Area-based family law firm, and they are looking for a family law attorney.

• Location: Oakland, CA 94601; with an option to work fully remote, but must be local to go into the office to meet with clients and attend hearings
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: open-ended with potential to convert to a permanent position
• Hours: Initially part-time (20 hours/week), then after a few months can be full-time. Flexibility to set your hours during business hours.
• No equipment provided

About you:

• Must be actively licensed and in good standing in California
• 2+ years recent experience in Family Law
• Exhibit confidence in court
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Can take initiative in following up with clients and completing task
• Detail-oriented
• Computer skills: Firm uses Apple, but most of the programs are cloud-based so you can use Microsoft, Clio, LIA

About the position:

• Attend hearings in Alameda, Contract Costa, Marin, and San Francisco Counties (some counties offer attendance via Zoom such as Contra Costa County)
• Manage your own caseload
• Drafting legal documents
• Calculating child support
