Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Facilities Mechanic 3 is responsible for providing equipment and facilities maintenance support to ensure efficient upstream and downstream manufacturing operations. These specific duties include:

• Troubleshooting equipment and processes
• Repairing facility and manufacturing mechanical and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with SOP's, work instructions and company procedures
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine testing of water treatment
• Troubleshoot automation systems
• Manage projects and communicate progress reports
• Perform corrective maintenance on production equipment using equipment repair manuals
• Operate plant equipment using approved Work Instructions and/or Equipment Operating Manuals

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years' experience in a maintenance role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate clearly and understand instructions
• Ability to read and understand Work Instructions
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
• Previous experience with basic carpentry or plumbing skills
• Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to navigate the internet with a high degree of success to obtain equipment repair procedures, part numbers and information needed to locate vendors of repair parts

Pay Range for this position - $44,800 - $104,400

Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.
