Job Description

We have a current opportunity for an Environmental Specialist to provide specialized environmental services to our utilities and remediation customers.

Responsibilities include chemical clean-up, industrial cleaning, emergency response, vessel tank management, decontamination work, confined space entry, equipment operation, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Some travel may be required along with working in a variety of climate/weather conditions. This position requires the ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays, as well as occasional overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science discipline preferred
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to follow through on assignments.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazardous (H) endorsement

No experience is required. We will train and provide support to earn your CDL! We are looking for candidates with a stable work history, strong work ethic, who are eager to learn.
