A DAY IN THE LIFE

Begin your journey outdoors! Our Client Project Managers get hands-on experience while spending most of their time outdoors in a hardhat rather than in a cubicle.

As a key member of the stack team, this role will be responsible for a full range of duties including:

  • Analyze, interpret, and serve as subject matter expert with respect to air permits and regulations
  • The CPM may fill the FPM position on field tests and must know the roles and responsibilities of the FPM
  • Complete or manage the preparation of the MAQS Site Specific Safety Plan
  • Act as liaison between clients, personnel, government agency representatives, and laboratory personnel for your testing projects
  • Participate or lead in the protocol development, methodology, and safety requirements for client projects
  • Maintain excellent client relationships through effective communication and customer service skills
  • Plan, manage, and execute client projects, from inception to completion including:
Assessing client goals, regulatory requirements, and relevant data to craft technical proposals, test plans, and technical reports Overseeing budgeting and managing the bottom line on client projects Determining, overseeing, coordinating and adjusting project timelines Allocating and directing resources to ensure satisfaction of project goals, timelines, and technical requirements Managing client expectations
  • Partner with clients to improve operational efficiencies, enhance environmental image, and avoid regulatory fines and penalties
  • Manage, perform and review documentation of method QA/QC requirements,
  • Document and report any method discrepancies found in the field and obtain required regulatory approvals for any method deviations
  • Identify quality assurance issues and/or identify solutions to quality assurance issues
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or degree in related field
  • Advanced stack testing knowledge and QI credentials
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting source test projects, unless otherwise accepted by the District Manager
  • Proficient in communicating at all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing client relationships and overseeing client projects, including budgeting and managing project costs
  • Possess good organizational and scheduling skills and have ability to prioritize
  • Extensive knowledge in applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
Years of Experience:
  • 5+ years minimum of stack testing experience
Travel:
  • Ability/willingness to travel locally and overnight. Jobs may be out of town and durations can vary from a day to several weeks.
