Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to drive capital equipment projects growth within the North American food & beverage market
  • Sell ingredient water, wastewater treatment and reuse solutions to food & beverage customers
  • Build and nurture relationships at all levels within food & beverage companies, engineering consultants and EPC's
  • In collaboration with our commercial and engineering teams you will understand and communicate customers' needs, qualify leads, and work closely with all stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive, value-driven solutions for our customers
  • Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects that lead to short, medium and long-term success
  • Foster a strong partnership across other Veolia businesses to maximize synergy with their customers, products and growth initiatives
  • In collaboration with other Veolia WTS teams, integrate aftermarket services, products and chemicals offerings as part of the Veolia solution
  • Effectively build relationships, interface and collaborate with commercial operations, applications engineering, project management, project engineering, field service and other internal functions
  • Use technology systems and tools to track opportunities and provide updates on sales forecasting

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science, or equivalent from an accredited University
  • or College
  • 5+ years' water/wastewater treatment industry experience
  • 3+ years' Sales, Applications/Process Engineering experience

Desired

  • Food & Beverage industry experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, gifted with interpersonal skills, and positive commercial acumen
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for selling
  • Successful track record penetrating new accounts and markets
  • Functional expertise with water and wastewater treatment technologies, including membrane treatment (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration), biological treatment (MBR, MBBR, anaerobic digestion) and thermal evaporation technologies
  • Experience developing and implementing complex capital projects
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracts, terms and conditions
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM technology platform
