Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and efficient design calculations to support project submittal drawings in accordance with project requirements, design codes and pricing scope
- Coordinate design calculations with submittal drawings
- Provide drawing assistance for project submittals using AutoCAD
- Management of multiple projects and performing duties on schedule with expected quality and results
- Provide assistance to other departments using sound engineering judgment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Registered EIT / FE is required
- Minimum of 1 year industry experience or project management related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and be able to perform structural designs
- Ability to use a variety of computer programs, including AutoCAD, Mathcad, Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to interact with customers, managers, engineers, drafters and other employees to resolve engineering and management related issues
