ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Responsible for the development and planning of robotic programming processes.
- Responsible for the development and installation of tools, equipment, gages, and standard work.
- Apply statistical methods to evaluate and improve process capability and estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Provide technical project management support.
- Provides technical assistance and training for assigned plant operations.
- Create and maintain accurate work instructions, routings, and BOMs.
- Ability to design and model fixture components and assembly tooling using Solidworks /AutoCAD.
EDUCATION:
- Future Electrical Engineering degree required graduating within the next 6-12 months
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a rising junior/senior electrical engineering student at a local college or university.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness/desire to learn and utilize lean manufacturing principles.
- Track record of taking ownership of work and displaying strong customer focus.
- Self-starter with the ability to establish, prioritize, and organize work tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Preferred
