Job Role: Electrical Engineering Fulltime Role

Location: Chester, PA

Electrical Engineering at Kimberly-Clark requires application, design, development, project management and troubleshooting skills to design, build, test and support equipment for manufacturing of consumer and business to business health and hygiene products. Engineers work as part of a team. Project size and financial responsibility increases with experience, including potential leadership of engineering teams and large capital or developmental projects. Also, positions in operations, maintenance and other functional areas are available for potential growth opportunities. As a world-class manufacturer of market leading consumer and business to business products, Kimberly-Clark operates under the philosophy of continuous product improvement requiring the development and design of new manufacturing lines and updates/additions to existing production machinery. To meet these requirements, fundamental engineering skills are applied, including:

  • Linear Feedback Control Systems

  • Adjustable Speed Motor Control

  • Power Distribution/Protective Devices

  • Combinational/Sequential logic

  • Computer Analysis/Simulation

  • Engineering Economics

  • Three Phase Equipment

  • Closed Loop Positioning Systems

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's (or MS) of Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree is required.

  • Relevant industrial co-op/intern or other experience is highly desirable.

  • A 3.0/4.0 or higher Grade Point Average is required

  • Effective Communication Skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment.

  • The ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments.

  • Application/Results orientation with primary focus on problem definition and generation of alternative solutions

  • Customer Focus when dealing with internal and external customers

  • Must have permanent right to work in the United States both now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge and experiences with high-speed converting equipment.

  • Prior exposure to plant/manufacturing experiences
