What You Will Contribute:


This position is primarily responsible for achieving revenue and margin targets through the direction and development of their team of Account Managers. This position will be responsible for managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of your salespeople.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting territory sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for account managers and distributors in support of national objectives
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
  • Achieving territory sales operational objectives by contributing territory sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change .
  • Assist with presentations to key prospects, target accounts, and customers.
  • Respond to customer and prospect inquiries, RFP / Bid requests and questions in a timely manner as required.

  • Assist in all other support functions as required.
  • Provide progress of sales projects at reasonable intervals or in response to specific inquiries.
  • Stay abreast of and communicate to sales and marketing competitor changes, new strategies, pricing, introduction of new products, or changes in existing products.
  • Maintain pricing strategy and provide detailed business cases for special discounted prices
  • First Review of Pricing Requests in Fastrack
  • Additional projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor degree in business, communication, information systems or a related field
  • Five plus years related experience with some experience in the water industry
  • Experience doing training, oral presentations and PC operation
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced skills in CSM Systems
  • Must be reside in East Region
