Job Description Summary:
As a Director of Risk and Compliance Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading aspects of operational resilience, critical incident management, and issue management for our organization. You will play a critical role in partnering across the Company to ensure that our operations are robust, resilient, and able to withstand and recover from disruptions and/or incidents. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to enhance strategies, policies, and procedures to effectively manage operational risks, incidents, and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Resilience Management: Develop and implement an operational resilience strategy that identifies and mitigates risks to ensure uninterrupted operations of the organization. Lead efforts to assess, monitor, and manage operational risks, including business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain operational resilience plans and procedures.

2. Critical Incident Management: further develop a comprehensive critical incident management framework that enables prompt and effective response to incidents that impact the organization. Enhance processes and protocols to identify, assess, escalate, and resolve critical incidents. Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders during critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our stakeholders.

3. Issue Management: drive adoption of a proactive issue management framework that identifies, tracks, and resolves issues. Enhance processes for issue identification, reporting, and resolution, and monitor progress to ensure timely resolution. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams in resolving issues and develop strategies to prevent future issues from occurring.

4. Analysis and Trending: Monitor and analyze risk data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

5. Leadership and Collaboration: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operational resilience, incident management, and issue management teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture, and mentor and develop team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to align operational resilience and incident management strategies with organizational goals and objectives. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership and participate in executive-level discussions and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

- Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience.

- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, risk management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in operational resilience, critical incident management, or issue management, preferably in a leadership role.

- Strong understanding of operational risk management principles and best practices.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing operational resilience and incident management strategies, policies, and procedures.

- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, develop, and motivate teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and reporting.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Professional certifications in operational resilience, risk management, or related fields are a plus.
