General Summary:

The Regional Sales Director leads the financial services wholesale, retail, lease, and insurance business conducted in the Region. The position requires the guidance and coaching of district managers to drive performance and achieve sales objectives. The position will establish and grow relationships with both dealers and the OEMs in order to grow and support sales goals. The position will monitor regional OEM and dealer performance in order to achieve region profitability objectives. The role will require representation at OEM and dealer councils, ad associations and serve as the primary liaison for the OEM at the regional level.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Direct day to day regional & district level HMF/KMF/GF activities

2. Lead the HCA OEM relationship for the assigned region

3. Manage & Achieve assigned HCA KPI's within the region

4. Manage & Collaborate with the ROM & GAM roles to achieve objectives

5. Lead, coach, and develop regional BDM's in district management

6. Collaborate with HCA leadership to achieve company KPI's & Objectives

7. Collaborate with Hyundai Capital Insurance in all regional insurance business

8. Be the lead on all commercial asset management within the region

9. Be the lead for training, development, & collaboration in the region

10. Be a good leader with a strong positive attitude all the time

Knowledge and Skills:

• Data analysis and reporting skills required

• Proven territory management and account acquisition activities

• Experienced in sustainable account development

• Adept Dealer conversion, income development, product knowledge, comprehension, and skill sets required

Qualifications

• 8+ years automotive management (managing direct reports) as well as proven dealer leader with field sales representative experience essential

• 5+ years of proven territory management and account acquisition activities (May include 2+ years B2B outside territory sales/management or business development, must include automotive related territory management and account acquisition activities

• Captive experience preferred

• Data analysis and reporting skills required

• Proven territory management and account acquisition activities

• Experienced in sustainable account development

• Adept Dealer conversion, income development, product knowledge, comprehension, and skill sets required

• College degree preferred, but will consider industry related experience & accreditations

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.
