RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in the Downtown Milwaukee, WI area that is looking for a Director of Accounting and Tax. This role will be responsible for all accounting, payroll, compensation, tax, and accounting functions of the organization and all their locations. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required with major in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 10+ years of overall finance, accounting and tax experience required, preferably in a service industry environment
- Well-developed and sophisticated leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with drive and enthusiasm
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Working Conditions: Will need to be in office during training period and Hybrid thereafter
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
