Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager the diesel mechanic performs highly skilled preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on motor coaches to minimize downtime in a cost effective, safe, timely manner and ensure a positive customer experience. We are willing to train the right candidate with a minimum of 2 years of commercial automotive experience. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns or failures
• Familiar with Cummins and Detroit Engines
• Familiar with ZF and Allison Transmissions
• Prefer CDL License - Class B with P Endorsement

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (must be 18 years old or older)
• Diesel mechanic experience is preferred; however, we will consider qualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years of commercial automotive mechanic experience.
• Valid Driver License and dependable transportation
• Be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including outdoors
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical
• Willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
• Work experience on motorcoaches is required
