Job Description:
Are you are a Human Services Leader that wants to make a difference for others? Do you have experience in Trauma-Informed care or experience with Kinship Relative Support? This leader position will oversee a team focusing on the Prevention scope of work, focused on supporting families to remain in the home, with relatives/kin, and in community-based placements and many other duties. Prefer experience in Supervisory in Human Services and Masters degree/Clinical Experience.
Rate is $36.174 per hour.

Examples of work:

•This position is being filled within our Prevention scope of work, focused on supporting families to remain in home, with relatives/kin, and in community-based placements.
•Teams supervised will include Family Finding, Therapeutic Family Care and Community Based Prevention
•Work will include partnering with families, providers, and CFS case teams to develop support plans for youth.
•Teams supervised provide specific programs and models in the delivery of service to families. This administrator position will be trained and need to become familiar with these models as well as seek nationally supported programs and models to consider for program improvement.
•Teams supported are statewide and provide support to youth across all service areas.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:: Bachelor's Degree in social services, business administration, public administration, human development, human services, behavioral health, law, special education, or other closely related field AND two years supervisory experience in a human services field; OR a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned fields. Equivalent experience or coursework/training may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:: Prefer two years or more of Supervisory Experience in Human Services and prefer a Master's degree and Clinical Experience.

Other: Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent transportation. Some travel may be required.

• Knowledge and experience in direct service delivery and work with families and youth
• Knowledge of current Nebraska child welfare system, provider network, and service array structure
• Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care and other evidence-based programs
• Knowledge and experience in supervision or management of a team in the fields of social work, child welfare, mental health, family support, etc.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
• Ability to critically think through solutions and provide recommendations for program improvement.
• Ability to partner and engage with stakeholders and families.
