Developer - Java, C#, Python, Maximo

GDH Consulting is looking for a developer interested in working a variety of projects. This is a fully remote opportunity for someone working in Central Time Zone. Projects range from Maximo integrations, app rebuilds, compliance projects, etc. The ideal candidate will have Maximo experience along with Websphere and Jython knowledge. This job is responsible for collaborating with business users in identifying business requirements, and translating them into system requirements, and logical/functional design.

As IT Analyst IV, you will provide technical leadership to a team of analysts to deliver software solutions and maintain existing applications in order to optimize organizational functioning. Responsibilities/Expectations:
* Analyzes and develops short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through developing new or modifying existing applications
* Reviews systems requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications
* Executes projects using project management concepts, requirements gathering and documentation, software development lifecycle and testing
* Collaborates effectively with business partners, project team, and senior management to develop solutions that facilitate the integration of business processes
* Recommends solutions based on an understanding of business requirements
* Provides technical leadership and mentorship within a broader team
* Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:
* Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years' IT experience
* Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of eight (8) years' IT experience

Other Requirements:
* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
* Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Maximo Developer

Other Requirements:
* Experience in a technical background working in a developer role, preferably in Maximo
* Strong programming skills (in any major language: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
* Experience with web or mobile application development
* Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering technical requirements in a production system
* Strong SQL skills
* Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
* Preferred: Experience with Maximo including use of the full suite of in-app development tools, use of Maximo Migration Manager to deploy changes, knowledge of the Maximo database and experience with integration tools and REST API; experience writing Jython Automation Scripts
