Cytopathologist with Clinical Hematopathology Sign-Out - St. Louis, MO
Quest Diagnostics St. Louis, MO laboratory is seeking a Board Certified Cytopathologist with extensive clinical hematopathology experience with peripheral blood sign-out . The case mix will include cytology/urine cytology, pap smears, fine needle aspirations and peripheral blood smears. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology is required for the role.
The chosen candidate will join a team of 2 pathologists who have good comradery. The role offers an opportunity to gain exposure to clinical lab management, quality assurance, and consultations.
- MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency.
- Must be board certified in anatomic pathology and cytopathology
- 2-3 years post residency experience required.
- Ability to spend consecutive hours with continued focus, interpreting tissues and cellular preparations through a microscope.
- Eligible to attain unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of MO.
- Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted.
