What We Are Looking For

The Cybersecurity Department protects Panduit information technology assets and respond to any cybersecurity or information security incidents. We are a dedicated department.We advise other internal IT groups on best practices.Document standards and procedures concerning the Information Security practice. Our primary focus is enterprise or traditional IT. As Panduit is a technology manufacturer, we also advise our Operational Technology units on how best to secure their shop floor environments. This is a 50% remote, hybrid role. The Cybersecurity Intern should be local to Tinley Park and expect to be in office 1x/week.

What You Will Do

Secure Configuration of End-User Devices-

End User Devices, such as Laptops, Tablets, Desktops, have a base configuration applied by policies.

• Under the supervision of the Cybersecurity Department, evaluate the current security configuration of various end-user devices.
  
• Use industry-based benchmarks to improve the baseline configuration.
  
• Work with other IT groups to implement these benchmarks in a sustainable fashion.
  

Data Security Improvements

• Refine Cloud Access Security Broker
  
• Security Design
  

What You Will Bring

• Preferred Major: Cybersecurity or NetworkSecurity
  
• Grade Level: Sophomore to Senior
  
• Start Date: May 2023

• Oral & Technical Written Communication Skills.

Panduit Intern Program

Our program consists of not only working with your functional area but getting to know the entire summer cohort of interns across Panduit. We are hoping that Summer 2023 will bring us back to a place where we will be able to get together and enjoy various activities with each other. You can also expect to get to know leaders at Panduit through special presentation sessions.
