HORIBA Semiconductor's proprietary analysis technology is fully demonstrated in a wide range of fields - semiconductors, medicine, environment, science and engine measurements. In high-tech industries like semiconductor manufacturing, HORIBA provides an extensive selection of process monitors for integration into manufacturing lines that aid the safe production of high performance devices.

Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Customer Service Representative in Austin, TX to responds to customer inquiries and complaints; provide product, pricing and delivery information, and act as liaison between customer and internal HORIBA departments.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responds to telephone, mail or fax requests for new orders or changes in service; provides product, pricing and delivery information; inputs customer orders/changes.
  • Inputs and maintains customer order information (e.g., purchase orders, sales orders, quotes, invoices, service orders, work orders, etc.); prints reports.
  • Performs system inquiries regarding sales order and shipping status; provides basic instruction to other HORIBA staff regarding dissemination of status information.
  • Generates appropriate sales order and shipping documents, corrects billing discrepancies; resolves incorrect term and condition issues with customers.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Minimum of two years' business to business (manufacturing environment preferred) customer experience.
  • SAP or other ERP experience preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Basic math knowledge; ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; good PC skills.
