What You'll Do

As a Culture + Engagement Representative your responsibilities will include supporting the Total Rewards, Talent Attraction + Engagement and Talent Growth + Performance functions to ensure superior service, efficient and effective support within the Culture + Engagement Team and the organization within these areas. Maintain positive team member and candidate relationships reflective of the spirit of the Lake Trust Compass. Assist team members with questions regarding policies and procedures. Participate in special projects and provide administrative support throughout various Culture + Engagement programs. Represent Lake Trust Credit Union and Culture + Engagement in a positive, professional, and solutions-oriented way.

Support the benefits, compensation, team member engagement, HRIS, payroll, talent attraction, and wellbeing functions by providing administrative support and solutions to the various programs within these functions.
  • Serve as a primary first level resolution contact to the C + E department for our internal team members and external individuals seeking information on benefits, compensation, team member engagement, HRIS, payroll, talent attraction, and wellbeing.
  • Support C+E leadership as needed.
  • Perform contract tracing as required.
  • Assist team members and visitors with questions and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Prepare and distribute reports using the HRIS to various sources in and outside the C+E Department to ensure accurate and timely completion of various operating procedures.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related behavioral science field, or five (5) years' relevant work experience or the combination of education and work experience that enables the performance of all aspects of the position is required.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices, typically acquired through at least one year of work experience in a Human Resources related position or through the combination of graduate course work or related internship experience is required.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on multiple projects, adhering to budgets and deadlines is required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to interact positively and effectively with a diverse group of applicants, candidates, hiring authorities and others is required.
  • Personal computing skills, including working knowledge of word processing and statistical and data base management software applications is required. (Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required).
  • Familiarity with the Affordable Care Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and EEO laws and regulations is required.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents and information with appropriate discretion and sense of urgency.
