Hours:

1st Shift - Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

1st Shift - Thursday to Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

The Cooker operator controls the cooking process from hydrolyzing the product to a finished product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Other duties may be assigned.

Hydrolyzing raw Meat and blood.

Sizing.

Running the Machinery that processes the meat into make meal.

Transferring of hydrolyzed meal to storage.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Hours:

Sunday is a scheduled plant shut down primarily for maintenance, housekeeping and training.

Shifts are subject to periodic rotation every 8 weeks

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Must reside within the United States to be eligible for employment.

NEW HIRE SIGN-ON Bonus: $3,000.00 sign-on bonus paid out $500.00 at 30 days. $1,000.00 paid out at 90 days and $1,500.00 paid out at 6 months.
