JOB SUMMARY
DCPMidstream'sSupply Chain Management function is designed to optimize the value (cost, risk, and efficiency) derived from supplier relationships. Working to support the suppliers and categories managed by Supply Chain Management, the ContractSpecialistwill actively manage the Contract Lifecyle process (creation, storage, management, and maintenance) across the Supply Chain Management and Legal organization.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Drivesconsistency and standardization across sourcing engagements by supporting the contracting process from contract creation to contract retirement
- Assessesand communicatescontract negotiation status to Supply Chain team and associated Business Partners
- Ensurescompliance to sourcing strategy: identifies, validatesand correctsthose situations where contract leakage exists
- Managesexisting contract repository and trackspending contract expirations to ensure contract risk is appropriately managed
- Supportssupplier relationship management process in conjunction with Sourcing Managers and Buyers (i.e. QuarterlyBusinessReviewprocess)
- Facilitatescontracting process from creation, execution, to renewal
- Data entry - loading contract information into centralized contract repository
- Liaisesbetween Supply Chain Management and Legal to track contracting process
- Performsother related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma is required.Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Supply Chain Managementor a similar degree fieldis preferred.
- A minimum of5years related experience is required; oil and gas industry experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business provisions in contract documents
- Understanding of purchasing and sourcing procedures
- Experience working with contract life cycle management software
- Proficient in MS Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
SPECIAL DEMANDS
- This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional travel may be requiredbut is not expected to occur frequently.
Salary Range-
The salary range for this role is \$52,300-\$83,600.
