Volt is immediately hiring a Contract Administrator in El Cajon, CA - San Diego.

As a Contract Administrator you will:

  • Manage, review, and update existing contracts.
  • Monitor Contract performance to ensure all parties fulfill their obligations.
  • Explain the contract scope of work to managers and subcontractors.
  • Identify and analyze potential risks associated with contracts including legal, financial, operational, or reputational risks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation, including agreements, amendments, correspondence, and related records.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, clients, and legal counsel.
  • Addressing any disputes, conflicts, or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle and finding a timely resolution.
  • Managing renewals, extensions, and amendments as necessary.
  • Collect and analyze data to generate monthly reports relevant to a contract's/company's compliance and overall performance.
  • Monitoring contract costs, budgets, and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial parameters.
  • Identify potential cost savings opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and managers.
  • Stay up to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed.
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shipping)
This position will also provide some administrative support for the office including but not limited to:
  • Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of office facilities, including workspace layout, cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for employees or visitors.
  • Prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and optimizing time to ensure productivity and efficiency in office operations.
This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:
  • Government Contracts
  • Risk Management
  • Overseeing project and monitoring project manager KPIs
  • Meeting with clients daily
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple accounts/clients
Pay Rate: $25 to $30 per hour

Schedule: M to F 9AM to 5PM

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
