About the Role

The Contract Administration Specialist II will provide administrative and project support for customer onboarding, carrier bids, account documents, and carrier’s insurance and authority updates.

What the Candidate Will Do

    • Know and understand customer contracts language on ownership of carrier contracts, customer’s carrier requirements for safety rating, insurance, and liability limits for use in reviewing and approving rate schedules and associations
    • Participate as part of the customer onboarding team to execute the Contract Administration requirements of a customer contract and within the onboarding timeline
    • Create or rate schedules for sending to carriers for signature, countersign documents and maintain electronic files or system
    • Maintain document trackers for communications with Onboarding, Procurement and Operations teams
    • Maintain data in all carrier databases
    • Run credit check, obtain approvals and usage data for specific requests
    • Be available to answer questions on carriers, carrier documents, and contracting process
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Contracting policies / procedures
    Basic Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • 1-2 years of related experience

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years in transportation or contracting
    • Minimum of 4 years in a business environment
    • Proficient computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office
    • Proficient in 10-key
    • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
