(Contingent upon available funding):37,080.00 - 44,520.00, Salary Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm with one hour for lunch Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary:The Computer Specialist provides IT services and support to faculty, staff, and graduate students in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering. The position provides IT technical support to OSU Agriculture-affiliated personnel, programs, and centers; serves as a college liaison and technical authority between the college and other Information Technology service providers both internal and external to the university to ensure a reliable and sustainable computing environment.About Us:The Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (DASNR) Information Technology unit provides technology services, support and training for DASNR administration, administrative support units, Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service county, area and district offices, Field and Research Service Unit research stations, and various DASNR academic departments. Education & Experience Position Qualifications:

Required: 

* Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience OR
* High school and eight years related experience and demonstrated progress toward bachelor's degree

Valid driver's license
Support level skills in Windows Server; experience with SimpleMDM or JAMF, Active Directory, GPO management and implementation policies, and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit or SCCM. Possess technical knowledge regarding computer hardware, including proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues. Support level skills in Microsoft Windows, Linux, computer and printer hardware, client-based networking software (TCP/IP), Microsoft Office productivity software, and multimedia equipment; Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team highly desirable.

Preferred: Bachelor's in Computer Science with 6 years of experience

CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL
Support level skills in Apple OS; experience with PDQ Deploy; experience with Citrix XenApp and VMWare.
