WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager. The Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager will manage CRE banking relationships for companies with annual sales greater than $2.5 million and total business credit of greater than $1 million. The incumbent has overall responsibility for retaining and expanding existing commercial relationships, as well as developing new commercial relationships. This may involve the sale and servicing of credit and non-credit products. The incumbent attends to the needs of customers seeking loans or lines of credit on terms that involve significant amounts of unsecured funds and/or credit secured by mortgages and other business collateral. Additionally, the incumbent will sell and service non-credit products, including corporate cash management and on-line banking services. This position serves as the "gatekeeper" for other Bank products and services. The incumbent will interview customers and prospects to understand information concerning their business needs, financial condition, and performance to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk as defined by the Bank's credit policy.
The Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager will partners with credit Associates such as Portfolio Managers in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans. The incumbent makes decisions on loans and terms within assigned individual lending limits, partners with line of business or credit administration personnel to approve credit under dual signature authority or makes recommendations to senior loan committee for approval. The incumbent calls on businesses to develop new relationships with prospective clients, as well as retain existing business, and promote additional bank services to current clients. The position relies on self-generated referral sources (I.e., CPAs, attorneys, business brokers) to develop new opportunities. The incumbent will track existing loan portfolio to ensure complete conformity with terms and covenants. The incumbent monitors and identifies developing trends or early warning signs of problem credits, performs timely risk assessment based upon this information, and updates loan systems and customer credit files with assessments. The incumbent will be responsible for performing annual reviews of their assigned portfolio manager.
