Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist that provides outreach, support and care coordination for members identified for clinical programs. Complete administrative tasks to support operational tasks of clinical programs.
We are looking for a candidate with:
2 years' administrative support within health insurance, healthcare, or health related industry
- Complete member outreach to educate members about the benefits of clinical program services with the goal for them to adopt or use the services.
- Identify members healthcare needs and provide intervention for members with care coordination needs.
- Respond to, triage, and process clinical program referrals.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Enter and maintain documentation of interactions with members, providers, or other stakeholders that meets legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Manage and supports special programs within the department.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
