Job Details:
This position is responsible for assisting with start-up and stacking frozen product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Essential functions of the job.
- The chopper operator must learn how to set up meat according to a formula consistently while following proper guidelines.
- This position must keep accurate meat and skin usage.
- Assist in clean up and sanitation of the line following all USDA/Tyson guidelines.
- Help set-up line at the start at the shift. All other duties assigned by supervisor.
- This position lifts 50 to 70lbs continuously.
Requirements:
- Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.
