What You Will Be Doing We are currently seeking a Chief Estimator to lead our estimating efforts and drive the growth of our business. With over 200 full-time employees, we offer a supportive work culture and established industry relationships. What You Need for this Position 8+ years in experience with a focus in Heavy Civil, Underground, & Roadway
-Extensive experience in construction estimating, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency
-In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes, especially in the area of heavy civil construction (e.g. highways, roadways, underground utilities)
-Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to supervise and mentor a team of estimators
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
-Proficiency in the use of construction software and tools, such as takeoff and estimating software, scheduling software, and database management systems
-A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
