McLean Hospital is seeking to fill a full time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse position in the Admitting Department of their new 68 bed inpatient facility located on the Oak St campus in Middleboro, MA. The APRN would be responsible for completing the initial admission assessment and diagnostic evaluation of assigned patients and establish a person-centered plan of care. The APRN works with their collaborating physician in accordance with mutually developed practice guidelines.

Qualifications
Education: Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing

License: Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse in the Advanced Practice Role. DEA and DPH/MCSR registrations for those is prescribing role.

Certification: ANCC certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certification as either a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist or as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

All employees must possess basic computer skills to use in a variety of electronic or online systems. Also required to complete electronic medical records training and demonstrated 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
