The Hilton Aventura is on the hunt for a unique Catering Sales Manager, Multicultural Events ROCKSTAR with experience selling social events and weddings to the local Miami market. The ideal candidate would have a successful track record selling into the ethnic and fusion wedding space and have local connections with vendors/suppliers in the Miami area. Kosher catering experience is a MUST for this role.

This person will oversee all aspects of the social / weddings segment which encompasses limited rooms and primarily local catering.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; ensuring all meetings and group activities are coordinated and managed to exceed the client's expectations. Managing relationships within the local community to ensure the Hilton Aventura is the first choice and premier option for all weddings and local/social catering events - specifically Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Shabbat Dinners and Passover events. Maintaining relationships with local religious event centers and community leaders (synagogues, Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Miami Beach JCC, etc). Maintaining and maximizing partnerships with bridal, wedding, and local catering companies to ensure Hotel is strategic with its partners in the Miami area.

Solicit local multicultural events through prospecting, networking in the community, outside calls to local religious and special event venues, and conducting hotel site inspections. Responding to all inbound inquiries within 4 hours via phone, formal proposals and email. Follow up on all proposals and respond to Meeting Broker and Cvent leads through brand sites (Hilton). Ensuring all wedding and social imagery on social media and client-facing websites (The Knot, Wedding Wire, Here Comes the Guide) are appropriate and up-to-date with Hotel's Multicultural Events showcased. Assure client satisfaction to develop and cultivate return business.

Hilton Brand Experience is a bonus qualification for this position!

High School diploma or GED certification required; College degree preferred. Minimum of two years of hotel sales management experience; relative franchise experience preferred. Must have Kosher Catering experience. Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by hotel business levels. Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written. Must work well in stressful, high-pressured situations. Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines.
