VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic is seeking to add a second board-certified or residency-trained cardiologist to our talented team serving Dallas and North Texas.

Our mission at The Animal Diagnostic Clinic is simple: provide area veterinarians, clients, and pets with the highest quality diagnostic and therapeutic care while maintaining a supportive and collegial environment for our specialists and technical staff. With this goal in mind, the practice is proud of the reputation it has in the veterinary community. We are known for our collaborative culture, strong sense of teamwork, and emphasis on communication and inclusion of our referring primary care veterinarians.

Our hospital's primary services include medical and radiation oncology, internal medicine, critical care, and cardiology. Surgical services are available and provided via a close relationship with a surgical practice in the building. Using the most sophisticated state-of-the-art equipment, we strive to fulfill our mission of providing the highest quality care. Our clinicians enjoy a full array of diagnostic support, from full-time in-house laboratory support to advanced outside reference laboratories, multiple digital radiography suites, access to fluoroscopy, on-site 16-slice helical CT capabilities, flexible and rigid endoscopy equipment, dedicated ultrasound and echocardiography suites, and on-site ECG and Holter monitor equipment. The Animal Diagnostic Clinic is also pleased to be one of the limited sites in the US for Varian True Beam Technology Radiation Therapy making it a destination site for owners wanting access to advanced radiation therapy (SRT and IMRT) for their pets.

Currently, there is one board-certified cardiologist at The Animal Diagnostic Clinic. The cardiology service is beginning to develop a cardiac catheterization program, with the ultimate goal of offering cardiac pacing, diagnostic angiography, heartworm extraction, and interventional procedures for certain congenital cardiac abnormalities.

The Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex is the nation's 4th most populous metropolitan area and The Animal Diagnostic Clinic enjoys a generous caseload in terms of volume, variety, scope, and complexity. The city of Dallas is considered the gem of the North Texas region with many area attractions such as professional sports teams, cultural, musical, and theatrical arts, and opportunities for outdoor activities at our many large lakes and parks. Of course, being the heart of the Southwest, Dallas embraces its heritage: Barbecue, Tex-Mex cuisine, and cowboy history can be readily found. These aspects enhance a modern day cultural hub and lend a distinctive feel and flavor to life here in the DFW area. Our city is comprised of all walks of life, lifestyles, and cultural identities.
