SUMMARY

Seeking aBusiness Process Subject Matter Expertto be part of a team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency Warehouse Management Systems program that will be conducted in New Cumberland, PA and Battle Creek, MI

TheBusiness Process Subject Matter Expert(SME)oversees requirements gathering and creating the process definitions used for automation after assessing optimization areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned.

Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.

Works with the engagement and client teams on the current / to be process mapping; involving IT teams where required to further identify and quantify RPA opportunities; and prepares documentation for handing over to the RPA development teams.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.

Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance with all applicable rules (federal, state, local, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Code of Federal Regulations, Prime Contract requirements, etc.) for themselves and the company as a whole. Fosters an environment in which they will reportanyviolations or reasonably suspected violation of CNI policy, FAR, and/or CFR and are comfortable discussing the myriad compliance, conflict, FAR, CFR, etc. issues that arise during the performance of a government contract.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related technical discipline and a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Master's degree preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create frequent business presentations.

Persuasion skills are critical.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels.

CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION

Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, such as Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) certification from the Association of Business Process Management Professionals International (ABPMP International) is required.

JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Knowledgeable in the analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

Operational knowledge and understanding of a software development environment.

Skilled proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Uses analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent diagramming and communication skills.

Advanced ability in requirements gathering and elaboration.

Demonstrated proficiency in eliciting user preferences around specific interface behaviors and related functionality.

Ability to be self-motivated and to rely independently on system documentation for learning complex workflows of a customized enterprise change management system.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to clearly and concisely communicate / explain technical information to a broad range of people with varying levels of technical expertise.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
