Business Operations Officer

We are searching for an experienced Business Operations Officer
South Bend, Indiana 46601

Essential Function

Responsiblefor providing quality service and daily product support for business,commercial and cash management accounts using TCU's suite of business bankingservices - Internet Banking, ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, and asuite of business related products and services.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

1. Responsible for assisting with business banking services for business, commercial, and cash management banking members and providing support for day to day operations.

2. Responsible for business, commercial, and cash management business banking member onboarding of products and facilitating business banking agreements for business members to ensure all documents are completed in a timely manner.

3. Conducts effective training presentations and demonstrations of TCU's Business Banking products to current and potential business accounts both virtual and in person.

4. Continually analyze and develop existing relationships with business, commercial and cash management members to help identify their needs and make referrals for additional TCU products and services.

5. Responsible for ensuring ACH originators are performing the necessary audits to maintain compliance standards, banking rules and regulations as required by NACHA.

6. Responsible for annual ACH originators and Remote Deposit users risk assessment reviews as required by NACHA and auditors.

7. Responsible for responding to inquiries from internal and external auditors.

8. Responsible for preparing daily and monthly analysis statements for Business and Cash Management members.

9. Responsible for working on special projects and preparing reports on business metrics as requested.

10. Responsible for evaluating and developing procedures to ensure work is being performed with maximum efficiency.

11. Assists in evaluating new business products and services which will enhance the overall business relationship and improve functionality.

12. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the credit union.

 

Specific Skills

· Requires clear verbal communication skills

· Ability to resolve complex financial matters with minimal supervision

· Ability to analyze, interpret and balance large volumes of EFT, ACH and other types of financial transactions

· Requires a working knowledge of banking laws, regulations

· Requires knowledge of computer application and the ability to develop databases and spreadsheets

· Ability to write, edit and interpret basic and complex EFT policies and procedures

 

Accountability

· Accountable for interpreting and applying TCU policies and procedures at they relate to the Bank Secrecy Act and corresponding legislation

· Accountable for achieving department objectives based on performance Management Goals and objectives

 


Minimum Requirement

· High School Diploma a must, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience a plus
· 4+ years' experience with principles of accounting or financial services



Exempt

 Annual Salary

Starting at a minimum of $53,121 annually and higher.
