Job Summary:

The A&H Benefit Advisor Specialist is responsible for driving Medicare Sales through professional and consultative selling on plan options in prospect areas while in an inside sales environment. Additionally, Benefit Advisors may have some opportunity with some IFP (Individual & Family plans) and Ancillary Product Sales through consultative selling on plan options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives inbound calls from customers who have questions on health insurance options in 20-50 states
  • Makes outbound sales calls on a variety of sales campaigns
  • Recommends plans and enrolls prospects based on the customer's needs
  • Quotes, presents, and closes sales while overcoming objections
  • Follows up on "book of business" on a consistent basis by making outbound follow up calls to prospects
  • Provides a positive customer experience with excellent customer satisfaction
  • Meets sales and productivity goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Updates customer file in CRM with summary of interaction
  • Maintains responsibility to act as a member of the management team to facilitate call center opening/closing procedures as needed for Aspire Carrier Team
  • Assists with escalated customer issues

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • L&H License or the ability to acquire within 60 days of hire

  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Ability to take feedback and implement it immediately
  • Outgoing, upbeat, and positive attitude aimed at providing excellent customer service

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
