The impact you will have:

Softchoice Design Studio seeks an Associate Engineer to expand its Security advisory consulting capabilities. Associate Engineersare responsible for supporting Principals and assisting in delivery and working with other Softchoice resources to support deal closures and deliver in complex, cross-practice deals. You will support engagements and work with Principals in advising clients at the highest strategic level with big-picture and tactical guidance on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes.

What you'll do:

• In this role, you will work with the team to help organizations transform their security models leveraging Zero Trust frameworks and Cloud Security governance models to enable businesstransformation.
• Be a key contributor to large, complex projects through assisting with initial data gathering and analysis through multiple tool sets to deliver insight to the Principals into current state and remediation requirements across Azure, AWS and Google clouds.
• Practitioner Development: Provide technical input and guidance into delivery processes; work with partner technical teams to improve scanning and data collection tools.
• Security Services Strategy: Assist Principals in developing new offerings and solutions, while providing feedback on tools and technologies to drive effective client engagements.
• Security Roadmap, Architecture, and Deployment Blueprints: Work with teams to provide security roadmap guidance and architecture, including business case, technology advice, and governance/compliance requirements.
• You will develop a growth mindset and relish opportunities to use familiar and unfamiliar technologies, closed source and open-source software.
• You will embrace security frameworks and contribute to growing and improving our security teams at Softchoice.
• Through cross functional collaboration, you will also hone your business and consulting skills through interactions with non-technical colleagues.
• Finally, you will be an active learner, identifying new or better ways to deliver impact with people and technology.

What you'll bring to the table:

• The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid understanding of, security and technology strategy, change management, a principled approach to broad digital transformation challenges and opportunities. Our Associate Principals know their customer industries and businesses and how Softchoice can help them drive their digital transformation.
• Minimum 4years experience in operational Security
• Diverse technical experience within the different domains that make up Security Governance
• Results-driven and goal-oriented
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for Data gathering and analytics
