Associate Director, Strategy Implementation & Business Transformation

Locations: Gaithersburg, MD or Gothenburg (SE)

We now have an outstanding opportunity to join the Strategy Implementation & Business Transformation (SI & BT) group as Associate Director playing a role in large, enterprise-wide transformation projects.

Accountabilities:

As an Associate Director, you will contribute to program management and leadership of enterprise-wide transformation projects that affect multiple SET areas, with an initial focus on generative AI. You will collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to find opportunities for delivering projects more efficiently as well as solutions that are suitable for the wider organization. You will coordinate activities to assure delivery towards the agreed target project scope and maintain a high degree of understanding and awareness on project- and change management theories. You will also engage and support the internal development of the business transformation teams processes, skill sets and access to relevant AI tools within the GPPM organization.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject such as life science, economics, business, or similar.
  • 5+ years' experience in life sciences management or strategy consulting or technology or a fast-paced development setting, with experience in business planning, operations and strategy.
  • Experience in managing high-profile projects, including digital technology and AI.
  • Very good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decision makers on all levels.
  • Ability to succeed in an environment that often involves ambiguity.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Experience from drug discovery and development is desirable.
