Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall management, direction, and administration of a variety of comprehensive recreational programs and services within Campus Recreation and facilities. Specifically oversees the management and operations of Fitness, Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Pursuits, and Camp Flastacowo summer camp programs.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive student development plan for Campus Recreation.
  • Serves as a member of the department's senior management team. Assists Director and Senior Associate Director with strategic planning initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in practice, philosophy and development of staff within the department.
  • Administers and oversees scheduling, budgeting, and budget controls for assigned program and facility operations in Campus Recreation.
Qualifications

Master's degree and four years of experience related to student services; or a Bachelor's degree and six years of related experience.
(Note: Higher education can substitute at an equivalent rate.)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Sport Management, Physical Education, Recreation/Leisure Administration, or related field and four years of experience.

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipated starting salary: $70,000.00 commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
