This role will drive cross-functional analysis and development of commercial lifecycle management strategies and action plans in pursuit of differentiating Moderna's COVID-19 vaccines portfolio and product profiles in ways that deliver maximum public health impact and earn customer preference and loyalty. You will be a critical member of a high-octane, highly visible global marketing team responsible for commercial success of the COVID-19 vaccines portfolio.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Drive and facilitate development of end-to-end commercial lifecycle strategy for COVID-19 vaccines; ensure lifecycle management (LCM) is a clear and actionable element of the overall brand strategy
  • Help define and shape how our COVID-19 vaccines' differentiated value proposition and growth can/should evolve over time; define the accompanying evidence we need to substantiate that differentiated value, that in turn is used by the marketing team to go-to-market.
  • Influence, coordinate and help drive strategic planning and decision-making efforts across functions and divisions related to a range of relevant LCM topics, including for example: target product profile development and refinement; product presentation improvements; packaging improvements; label/artwork coordination; scientific and differentiation evidence coordination.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with global function and division leadership re: lifecycle strategy (research, clinical-development, regulatory, supply chain, medical, market access, communications, policy, and more).
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with General Managers and Alliance Managers re: lifecycle needs and priorities.
  • Interact and support the newly established COVID Vaccines Integrated Leadership Team (e.g., preparation; follow-up actions; leadership outreach; proposal development; etc.).
  • Represent commercial global marketing team on various COVID program teams and workstreams; participate in and COVID-19 program team positions.
  • Capture, pressure-test, curate, and organize key inputs and assumptions critical to LCM planning through close coordination and collaboration across function and division leadership.
  • Synthesize and prepare analyses, briefs/presentations, and proposals to gain alignment and facilitate problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum eight years of experience in strategy development (analysis, planning, execution)
  • Experience in lifecycle management and product strategy
  • Experience in vaccines and immunization
  • Experience within innovative pharmaceuticals and/or biotechnology organizations

  • MBA, MPH, or other relevant advanced degree
