ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, disciplined and able to perform effectively against clearly defined goals and objectives that directly contribute to profitable growth in the organization.
  • Support all post order technical support required by the business team.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop tools and processes to measure, change, sustain the business processes to support customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance to all safety and integrity rules and regulations within the function.
  • Ensure timely investigation and resolution of customer transactional issues.
  • Ensure proper staffing, training and development to fulfill key performance metrics of customer satisfaction goals and market expectations.
  • Lead the identification, assessment and implementation of new capabilities/processes to ensure the customer has a professional and timely experience when engaged with Dodge.
  • Collaborate up and down the value chain to reduce waste and simplify processes – find ways to do more with the team we have.
  • Lead and inspire by taking a stand for what is right and NOT for what is easy, and create a climate in which everyone can and is expected to do so.
  • Understand customer needs, enable and empower the team to address them by providing guidelines and priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and developing capabilities required to build future success.
  • Establish a Quality culture with an emphasis on identifying and removing opportunities for process defects.
  • Ask Questions and seek opportunities to simplify.
  • Transform the team’s culture from “Yes, but” to “Yes and” / “Yes what if” conversations.
  • Mitigate risks by moving as fast as possible and as slow as needed – taking calculated risks in the pursuit of results.
  • Establish clear and ambitious targets in line with Dodge’s vision and strategy.
  • Assign clear roles and responsibilities; track delivery and hold your team accountable.
  • Take calculated risk with the team: identify talent early and empower by matching capability with opportunity and encourage others to so.
  • Act as an owner and commit to delivering results by taking responsibility, and enabling your team to take responsibility, for executing priorities.
  • Build and maintain (in) formal networks and communities, inside and outside of the team to create trust.
  • Enable collaboration by aligning the team plan with plans of other teams, effectively handling dependencies, to increase overall efficiency.
  • Develop the team and create a climate of recognition, by providing regular feedback, and having a difficult conversation as appropriate.
  • Create a challenging and supportive environment that enables personal and professional growth.
  • Proactively share success and failure with transparency and reapply learning across the team.
Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree AND 10 years of industrial experience OR
Master’s Degree AND 5 years of industrial experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors’ in Mechanical Engineering

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt methodology and certification

Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills

Highly collaborative, results oriented change agent

Ability to work in USA without Visa assistance

Familiarity with Dodge portfolio will be a plus

Strong analytic skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving

Strong communication and presentation skill

Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit with passion for ideas

Appreciation for and understanding of the full product development process and activities and challenges faced by other functions as well – especially marketing, supply chain, and design

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Dodge in the US.
