Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Network/Comms Product Owner (PO)

Overview

i3 is seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Product Owner (PO) that will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).
Responsibilities

• Prioritization and validation of the network development and updates/patches for the Comms team.
• Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.
• Support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and be responsible for their verification.
• Responsible for working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network.
• Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint.
• Provide technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership.
• Report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Have a good understanding of networking to include IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, Quality of Service (QoS), and Access Control Lists (ACL)s.
• Have a broad understanding of Army tactical radios and RF.
• Must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.

The candidate must:

• Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• Be a US citizen.
• Have a Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics.
• Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

Other Qualifications:

An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS. The ability to "move out" and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important. Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus. Security + and Linux experience is also desired. Agilist certification.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
