RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager in Bedford, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to the day-to day accounting functions of the company. The position acts as controller of the company, and maintains accounting principles, internal controls, and drives procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This Accounting Manager must meet tight deadlines and a multitude of activities.REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA preferred
- CPA certification
- 8+ years in related position; Public accounting firm experience desirable
- Previous experience supervising accounting staff
- Highly proficient in ERP systems and/or accounting software, as well as foundational computer skills required (QuickBooks, Excel, Microsoft Suite of products)
- Willingness to contribute to the team in any manner possible to reach company goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
