  • Manages and directs the execution of Sales initiatives to meet organizational objectives. Ensures the best possible service and effective communication to US Cotton customers.


  • Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Recommend sales strategies in support of US Cotton strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee major and national account activities and bids providing strategic guidance and support as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments to maximize revenue growth.
  • Provide support for the design, development and implementation of products and service lines.
  • Support direct market research, competitor analyses and customer service retention monitoring processes and initiatives.
  • Work within established standards for business controls including sales, distribution policies, and arbitrary credits and disputed items.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales OR a related degree in Business Administration or Management.


  • 5 plus years in a sales position specializing in manufactured, non-durable goods;


Building relationships:

  • Establishes strong relationships with a broad base of constituents.
  • Employee training and development.

Business Judgment:

  • Gathering and analyzing information to ensure an understanding of the business at multiple levels; Making effective short and long term decisions based on analysis.


  • Ability to think ahead a plan over a 1-3 year period.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Sales and service systems development and deployment.

  • Identify and influence key opinion leaders to develop mutually beneficial business
