3D Printing Tech Assistant

The individual is responsible for fabrication assistance that will be used in the development of automotive, motorcycle, watercraft, and ATV electrical and lighting designs. The methods could be 3D printing, 3D scanning, body filler/clay shaping, and other means. Additional assistance may be performed in the areas of mechanical fitment, electrical testing, and similar.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay: $18-19/hour, temp to perm

Responsibilities and Duties

- General assistance to the Engineering Team

- Motorcycle lighting wiring and harness fabrication

- Motorcycle lighting assembly and installation testing

- Assembly of Custom Dynamics test boards

- Assist with creating installation step photos for product instructions

- Testing of Custom Dynamics new product designs

- Maintain 3D Printer and 3D Scanner supplies, software, and setup

- Maintaining and organizing tools, technician supplies, test mule fleet, and laboratory areas

- Occasional support for quality assurance testing

Preferred Skills

- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities

- Strong attention to detail

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Patience and listening skills

- Soldering ability (a plus, not required)

- 3D Printing experience (a plus, not required)

- 3D Scanning experience (a plus, not required)

- Experience with low-voltage test equipment (a plus, not required)

- Time-management skills

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent

- Microsoft Office experience

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
